The band has received countless accolades for their artistic achievement, including multiple GRAMMY nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and more. Their first album, Hot Fuss, was released in 2004 to worldwide acclaim. The album contained the singles “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me,” in addition to the anthemic song “All These Things That I’ve Done,” which has since been referenced by the likes of U2 and Coldplay. The band toured for two years straight behind Hot Fuss, playing more than 400 shows, and eventually returned to Vegas to begin to work on the follow-up album with legendary producers Alan Moulder and Flood. The result, a love letter of sorts to their hometown titled Sam’s Town, was released in 2006 and spent 42 weeks on the Billboard Top 200. A b-sides collection, Sawdust, was released in 2007, followed by their third studio album, Day & Age, which was released to widespread critical praise in 2008, anchored by massive single “Human.”

The Killers released Battle Born in September 2012, which saw them expanding their world tour into countries they’ve never visited before, and finally were honored to perform at the world-renowned Wembley Arena, one of the most monumental and significant shows of their career. After a decade of making music, in November 2013, The Killers released a “Best Of” collection, Direct Hits, which featured two incredible new songs alongside classics from the band’s revered catalogue. The band, who have sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and headlined all of the world’s top festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury), released their newest studio album, Wonderful Wonderful, on Sept. 22, 2017.

Taylor Hicks

Venue: Rocks Lounge

Genre: Blues Rock

Date:  Friday, December 8, 2017 at 8 p.m.

Ticket Prices: $40 plus tax and applicable fees for general admission

Artist Info: Taylor Hicks is one of the most beloved and popular AMERICAN IDOL winners of all time. From the start, Hicks’ material on the mega-hit show set him apart, with a unique take on Southern soul, R & B, country and blues. Sixty-four million votes were cast and nearly 37 million American viewers and more than 200 million viewers worldwide tuned in to crown Hicks the Season 5 winner, making it one of the most-watched TV events of the last decade.

Hicks’ star continued to rise after he stepped off the Idol stage. Less than three weeks after his victory, his debut single, “Do I Make You Proud,” entered at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Pop 100, and Single Sales Charts. Coinciding with the single’s release, a cover story named him People magazine’s “Hottest Bachelor of the Year.” His self-titled album (Arista), debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and was quickly certified RIAA Platinum. In 2007, Hicks penned a brisk-selling autobiography “Heart Full of Soul” (Random House). Hicks is the first male Idol winner to be featured on a Grammy Award-winning album, Jimmy Fallon’s “Blow Your Pants Off,” which took home the 2013 Grammy for Best Comedy Album.

On Broadway, Hicks starred in the hit musical, GREASE as Teen Angel, and when asked to join the national tour, happily agreed. The 18-month tour connected him with fans across North America. Hicks, who hails from Birmingham, Ala., had music on his mind from childhood. As a young adult, he became a fixture around the Southeast, playing concerts and club dates with visiting stars like James Brown, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, Robert Randolph, Keb’ Mo’ and Widespread Panic, among others. Venue: Red Rock Ballroom

Genre: Country

Artist Info: Florida’s Michael Ray has a resonant voice and a knack for crafting vibrant, upbeat contemporary country-rock. Although he built a strong grassroots fan base in Southern Florida, Ray also gained prominence as the winner of the CW network’s reality television vocal competition The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep in 2012. In 2010, his independently-released debut caught the ear of veteran music industry manager Tony Conway, who began helping Ray take his career to a national audience. In 2012, Ray appeared on the CW talent competition The Next, where he was mentored by Big & Rich's John Rich. Ray was an audience favorite on the show and ultimately took home the top prize. After the show, Ray signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell and in 2014 released the hit single “Kiss You in the Morning.” His full-length major-label debut followed in 2015 on Warner Music Nashville, making it to number four on the country albums chart. Returning in the summer of 2017, Ray released the single “Get to You” in advance of his sophomore record.

Country-rock band LANCO — which stands for Lancaster & Company — were formed in 2013 by namesake and frontman Brandon Lancaster. Hailing from Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky, the quintet was rounded out by drummer Tripp Howell, guitarist Eric Steedly, keyboardist Jared Hampton, and bassist Chandler Baldwin. Crafting feel-good country anthems tinged with classic rock and blues edges, LANCO got their start after a chance meeting between Lancaster and producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town) at a Keith Urban concert. Joyce signed LANCO to his publishing company and produced their eponymous debut EP. The band signed with Sony Music Nashville imprint Arista Nashville in late 2015. Their second EP, Extended Play, was released in early 2016. It contained three of the same songs as their debut, exchanging “High” for newer track and lead single “Long Live Tonight,” a pop-fused country song with a Kings of Leon undercurrent. Their song “American Love Story” was also featured as the theme for the Netflix series The Ranch.

Canadian country singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist Lindsay Ell was born in Calgary, Alberta. Music was it for her from the beginning, and she started playing piano at the age of six, switched to guitar at eight, and by 10 she was writing songs and perfecting her guitar skills at bluegrass camps, soaking up all the country music she could. By the time she met Randy Bachman when she was 13 years old, Ell had developed into a dynamite electric guitar player with a sweet and easy country-pop vocal style, a female counterpart to guitar-slinging country artists like Keith Urban and Brad Paisley. Bachman became her mentor, introducing her to the work of various jazz and blues guitar players, and Ell fell in love with the blues, studying it along with music by the best rock guitarists, from Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Derek Trucks. Soon she was sharing stages with the likes of Buddy Guy and others, always bringing her own vibrant mix of country and gritty electric guitar. Bachman produced her first album, Consider This, which was released in 2006. Her second release, 2009's Alone, had a more acoustic veneer. Signing with Stoney Creek Records, she released the infectious country single “Trippin’ on Us” in the fall of 2013. Two more singles – “Pickup Truck” and “Shut Me Up” – followed in 2014, both of them reaching the Top 20. Another single, “By the Way,” arrived in 2015, but 2016’s “All Alright” reached Canada's Country Top Ten. Her debut EP, aptly titled Worth the Wait, arrived in the spring of 2017 and was followed later that summer by her first album, The Project.

Twenty-one year old, multi-faceted artist Danielle Bradbery steps out and into her own with new leading track, “Sway.” The single marks a new sound for Bradbery, that infuses her pop, R&B, soul and country influences and is penned herself with co-writers Johan Fransson and Emily Weisband. This will be the first project where Bradbery has gotten to play a role in writing her songs, allowing her to find her own voice and share her own story. In addition to releasing “Sway,” Bradbery was nominated for Performance of the Year at the 2017 CMT Music Awards for her performance of “Close” with Thomas Rhett and Nick Jonas on CMT Crossroads. The Texas-native got her start as the winner of Season 4 of NBC’s The Voice, where she soon found success with her singles “The Heart of Dixie” and “Young in America” off her self-titled album on Big Machine Records.

Jordan Davis is a contemporary country singer who proudly follows in the footsteps of Sam Hunt, dressing his solid country foundation with a blend of pop, modern R&B, and hip-hop. This fusion can be heard on “Singles You Up,” the bright and soulful debut single that arrived in the summer of 2017. The track appeared after Davis spent several years working as a professional songwriter in Nashville. He moved there from his native Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was born in 1989. Initially, Jordan didn't plan to pursue music. He graduated from LSU Baton Rouge with a degree in resource conservation but once he received encouragement from his brother to head to Nashville, he decided to pack up and move to the Music City in 2012. In 2015, he landed a publishing deal with ole Rights Management and in February 2016, he signed with UMG Nashville. During that year, he began collaborating with Paul DiGiovanni — a guitarist who worked with Dan + Shay and Hunter Hayes — and started work on his first album.
