Best known as “The King of New Jack Swing,” Teddy Riley rose to fame as a member of the R&B group, Guy. In 1991, the singer-songwriter formed the R&B and soul group Blackstreet, releasing the top hits “Don't Leave Me,” “No Diggity,” and “Girlfriend/Boyfriend.” In addition to being an artist, Riley has also produced music for several legendary artists, including Michel Jackson, Bobby Brown, Boys II Men and Snoop Dogg. The producer has studios in different parts of the world, including in Los Angeles, Calif., Atlanta, Ga. and Seoul in South Korea, where he continues to work on tracks for numerous artists and special projects.
Faith Evans burst into the R&B music scene more than two decades ago, and has since then released eight studio albums, sold more than 18 million records and has spawned more than 30 singles. Throughout her career, Evans has released three Platinum-certified albums, including “Faith,” “Keep the Faith” and “Faithfully.” The singer also released the Gold-certified album “The First Lady,” as well as the holiday staple, “A Faithful Christmas.” Additionally, Evans has won a Grammy Award, MTV Video Music Award, Soul Train Award and two Lady of Soul Awards. Most recently, Evans has released her long-awaited duet album with the late Notorious B.I.G. titled “The King and I.”
Formed in 1987 in Harlem, NY, R&B supergroup Guy pioneered the new jack swing subgenre with a string of chart-topping hits. Together the group released three albums, including “Guy,” “The Future” and “Guy III,” as well as their two compilation albums “Grove Me: The Very Best of Guy” and “The Millennium Collection.” Guy continues to impress fans with hits like “My Fantasy,” “I Like,” “Wanna Get With You,” “Let’s Chill” and “Dancin.” The group’s current lineup includes Teddy Riley, Aaron Hall and Damion Hall.
The soulful vocal trio SWV, also known as Sisters With Voices, began their musical career in 1992 with the release of their debut album, “It’s About Time,” which went double platinum. SWV went on to produce several No. 1 hits, including “Right Here/Human Nature,” “Weak,” and “You’re the One.” They have also released a series of Top Ten hits, including “I’m So into You,” “Anything,” “Someone” and “Always on My Mind.” The group has been nominated for multiple awards, including a Billboard Music Award, Soul Train Award, Grammy Awards and more. The group’s lineup includes original members are Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” Johnson and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons.
