"The After Show" Brings Lance Burton, Mac King, Michael Goudeau and More to The Space on Saturday, May 13





LAS VEGAS – May 9, 2017 – This May, veteran entertainers and up-and-coming comedians will bring the laughs to Las Vegas at The Space (3460 Cavaretta Court) at “Louie Anderson Presents: The After Show” on Saturday, May 13.  For the latest installment in the monthly comedy extravaganza, the beloved comedian enlists Las Vegas veteran comedy magician Lance Burton to fill in for hosting duties.  Guests can enjoy the comedy stylings of local entertainer Mac King, as well as will some of Los Angeles comedy scene’s brightest talent including Michael Goudeau, Chas Elstner, Jeffery Baldinger, Sandro Iocolano and Vinny Falsine.  Seating is extremely limited to 150 guests and tickets are $20 per person and on sale now online at www.thespacelv.com.

“The After Show” is brought to the Las Vegas stage by Louie Anderson.  In the spirit of Mondays Dark, Anderson created “The After Show” as a vehicle to give back to the local, Las Vegas community, while giving a comedians a place to congregate for impromptu laughs after their nightly gigs.  Structured like a New York City intimate comedy cabaret, “The After Show” will be the place to see up and coming comedians, established comics workshopping new material and perhaps catch a glimpse of headlining funny men and women playing after their shows.

Iconic comedian Louie Anderson, the three­-time Emmy Award® winner, is one of the country’s most recognized and adored comics; named by Comedy Central as “One of 100 Greatest Stand­-Up Comedians of All Time.” His career has spanned more than 35 years. He is a best-selling author, star of his own standup specials and sitcoms and he continues to tour the country performing to standing-room-only crowds worldwide.  In 2016 Anderson was cast to co­-star along with Zach Galifianakis and Martha Kelly in the hit FX comedy series Baskets. Anderson plays the extraordinary role of Christine, the matriarch of the Baskets clan. He based the character on his mother and his five sisters who were all a major presence in his life. Anderson won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Christine Baskets in 2016.
