Mumford & Sons exploded on the rock music charts in 2009 with the release of their first studio album,
Sigh No More featuring tracks “The Cave” and “Little Lion Man.” Their second album
Babel debuted at No. 1 on both the US and UK Billboard 200 charts and became the fastest-selling rock album of the decade. After taking a brief hiatus, the band rejoined to release
Wilder Mind, which featured a developed sound and powerhouse singles “Believe” and “The Wolf.” 2016 was a busy year for the band, who performed a historic run of shows in South Africa which resulted in a DVD and “mini album” release, toured South America
for the very first time and headlined multiple music festivals around the UK. As for the future, American audiences have already gotten a small taste of the band’s forthcoming album as they performed two or three new songs live during last year’s Austin 5000
tour.
