LAS VEGAS – Greenspun Media Group (GMG), publisher of

and The Sunday, enhances its leadership team by promoting three-year veteran
Michael Uriarte to director of marketing & events. He will be responsible for spearheading GMG’s campaign planning as well as event programming.
In his former role as GMG’s strategic partnership manager, Uriarte served as an instrumental liaison between the sales and marketing teams for all of the company’s publication brands. He successfully developed and implemented
innovative event and partnership opportunities all while overseeing GMG’s annual events calendar, onsite event activation and promotions.
Uriarte began his career at GMG as a promotions manager. Prior to that, he worked as a senior events manager for WENDOH Media and promotions manager for The Light Group. In his spare time, he is one half of the Producer/DJ Duo, MICS.
A true Las Vegas local, Uriarte is a graduate from Silverado High School and University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he received his bachelor’s in hospitality management and was a member of the tennis team.
