Golden Gaming, LLC Names Jeff Rodefer General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

LAS VEGAS (May 15, 2014) – Golden Gaming, LLC announces the appointment of Jeff Rodefer
as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. In his new role, Rodefer will oversee the Legal and Compliance Departments.  As such, he will act as the company’s in-house gaming counsel, handle general corporate legal affairs, implement critical compliance
programs, work closely with gaming regulators and provide legal advice to the executive team.


Rodefer was with Boyd Gaming Corporation for nearly twelve years where he last served as Vice President of Legal Affairs, Assistant General Counsel and Corporate
Compliance. In that position, he was the company’s in-house gaming counsel and oversaw its compliance programs.  He also held various positions during his prior thirteen-year tenure with the Nevada’s Attorney General’s Office, including eight years as counsel
to the State Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission where he last held the position of Assistant Chief Deputy Attorney General.

Rodefer is admitted to practice law in Nevada, California, Colorado and Oregon.  In 1993, the Nevada Supreme Court appointed him to the State Bar of Nevada’s
Functional Equivalency Committee where he is currently the Vice Chairman.  Since 2000, he serves as Chairman of the Gaming Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada where, among other things, he acts as co-editor of the Nevada Gaming Lawyer and organizes the
annual Gaming Law and Bank Secrecy Act Conferences.  In 2010, the State Bar of Nevada named him its first recipient of the “Volunteer Lawyer of the Year” award.  Additionally, he serves as a Trustee for the University of Nevada, Reno’s Foundation.

Rodefer attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and he received his Juris Doctorate
from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, OR.
