Preparations for this unique festival have already begun as the Mission
works together to bring this exciting event to the local Las Vegas
community. “We have several volunteers from the Mission who are working
tirelessly to bring this great event together”, says Father Nadim Abou
Zeid, pastor of the Mission.* The food that will be served is all prepared
from scratch, with one family already prepping over 2000 kibbee balls, a
meat, cracked wheat and onion dish that is a traditional appetizer and
favorite of many.*
The week of the festival, the Mission invites all media outlets to visit
and see first-hand the preparations that go into a festival. Father Nadim
Abou Zeid and Juliette Hanache, spokesperson for the festival, will also be
available for interviews.
