LAS VEGAS (Jan. 17, 2012) –  Returning to The Improv stage at Harrah’s Las Vegas, comedian, actor, radio host and best-selling author Jay Mohr will deliver his one-of-a-kind, outstanding hilarity Feb. 10 – 12. Tickets for Mohr’s performance are $45 and $55 for VIP seating (plus applicable taxes), and can be purchased at the Harrah’s Las Vegas Box Office, online at www.harrahslasvegas.com or by calling (702) 369-5223.

Making people laugh for more than 20 years, Mohr has been performing stand-up comedy since he was 16 years old. Named one of the 100 greatest stand-up comics of all time by Comedy Central, Mohr is amongst the rarest of entertainers.

Balancing both acting and comedy, Mohr has starred in 25 films, including “Jerry Maguire” and “Picture Perfect” and more than 50 television shows, including the critically-acclaimed “Gary Unmarried.” He is a regular guest host on the nationally syndicated “Jim Rome Show” as well as a regular contributor for some of the highest-rated radio shows in the country.

Additionally, Mohr wrote the best-selling book “Gasping for Airtime” about his battle with panic attacks throughout his tenure on “Saturday Night Live.” His second book was the hilarious, “No Wonder My Parents Drank,” which describes in painful and beautifully funny detail the pros and cons of parenthood.

Known for its weekly rotating cast of the industry’s finest comedians, The Improv brings some of comedy’s biggest names center-stage. Opened in April of 1995, The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas has been named “Best Comedy Club” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s coveted “Best of Las Vegas” poll numerous times. Other Improv accolades include “Best Comedy Club” by Casino Player Magazine and “Best Comedy Club in Southern Nevada” by Nevada Magazine. The Improv is the longest-running comedy club in Las Vegas and with its recently-signed contract extension, will be at Harrah’s Las Vegas through at least 2015.
