Rum line kicks off with ultimate flair competition- The Big Kahuna Flair Smackdown III

If you’re in Vegas right now, than its time to RUMble at the ultimate battle of the world’s best flair bartenders competing for $20,000 in prizes at The Big Kahuna Flair Smackdown III.  The event marks the debut in Vegas of Kahunaville Party Rum, a line of naturally-flavored rum fro the West Indies.

The qualifying round was held at Rock & Rita’s inside of Circus Circus on Monday, March 7. The Big Kahuna Flair Smackdown III competition was open to contestants from all over the world. The final round and official launch party for Kahunaville Party Rum will be held at Kahunaville inside of Treasure Island on Tuesday, March 8 at 8 p.m.

Sounds like a party.  And from the sound of things, Kahunaville Party Rum will be a tasty addition to the party list. Flavors include an original blend, Coconut, Mango, Pineapple, Citrus, Black Cherry and Banana. The original blend is 80 proof, the flavors are 42 proof and will be approximately $9.99 per 750ml bottle.

Total prizes up for grabs to contestants during The Big Kahuna Flair Smackdown III competition amount to $20,000. The first place winner will win $6,000 cash, second place will receive $3,000, third place $2,500, fourth place $2,000, fifth place $1,500, sixth through eighth place winners will receive $1,000 and ninth and tenth place will receive $700.
