Las Vegas, NV (February 23) –Russell Peters’s show at The Joint has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 30. The reason for the re-scheduling is that Russell has landed a role in the Sci-fi action movie, Source Code. The film is set to be directed by Duncan Jones (Moon) and star Jake Gyllenhaal (Jarhead), Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) and Michelle Monaghan (Eagle Eye).  Originally scheduled to start shooting after his tour, Russell’s shoot dates were moved-up when the producers decided to expand his role in the film with additional scenes and dialogue.

Fans should retain their tickets from the March 27 date as they will be honored for the May 30 show. Fans unable to attend the re-scheduled shows will be offered refunds at the point of purchase.  All refunds must be applied for prior to March 31st, 2010.

Tickets, starting at $49.50 (plus applicable service fees), are on sale now at the Hard Rock Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000.
