Ciao Ciao Apizza Angelato - (4460 South Durango Drive, Las Vegas, NV) Here’s a find for all of you looking for great pizza, pasta, salad, etc.  Casual atmosphere, very reasonable prices, great service and wonderful food.  Let me start with the salads, a dinner salad is almost enough for a meal, fresh, inviting, and just the right amount of dressing on the House Salad.  The full size, well, don’t order anything else or share it with several others.  I’ll go back just for the salads.  The pizza choices are many.  Toppings galore.  Made fresh and yummy.  My eggplant parmesan was fabulous.  Enough to take home for another meal.  Portions are plentiful but not ridiculous.  And the bread, real hot Italian Bread.  Delicious! There were 12 of us and it was my birthday so they brought out a gooey, chocolate sauce covered cannoli with a couple of candles in it.  Here, I have to say it wasn’t quite the New York Cannolis I’m accustomed to.  For that, I’ll head back to Little Italy soon.  Our waitress was great even in the midst of my entire family shouting various orders at her and requesting several things at once.  She rose to the occasion with smiles.

They sat us in the Frank Sinatra corner of the room against a wall which faced out toward the entire restaurant.  Televisions everywhere, what looked like a friendly bar to hang out in and that warm feeling you get in an establishment where people are obviously enjoying their meal and their evening.  It was a Wednesday night at 6:30 and the place was hopping.  Good food and service at a reasonable price appears to be recession proof.

Stop in for dinner – you’ll be glad you did.  I know we’ll go back and bring others.  Mangiare bene!!
