Every other year on March 11 the multi-platinum group 311 holds a special concert event attracting thousands of fans worldwide. The event is typically held in New Orleans and as a result, the Mayor of New Orleans officially proclaimed March 11 as “311 Day” in New Orleans. However, this year’s “311 Day” concert will move to the Mandalay Bay Events Center for a performance Thursday, March 11. 311 will play an extended set list of hits, rarities, covers and classics; backed by a state-of-the-art light and special effects show.
