Every other year on March 11 the multi-platinum group 311 holds a special concert event attracting thousands of fans worldwide.  The event is typically held in New Orleans and as a result, the Mayor of New Orleans officially proclaimed March 11 as “311 Day” in New Orleans.  However, this year’s “311 Day” concert will move to the Mandalay Bay Events Center for a performance Thursday, March 11. 311 will play an extended set list of hits, rarities, covers and classics; backed by a state-of-the-art light and special effects show.  There also is a potential for appearances by circus performers, aerial acrobats, fire twirlers, stilt walkers and marching bands.

The Roller Coaster is located on the 2^nd floor in the Coney Island Emporium.  This exciting ride twists, loops and dives around the perimeter and even through the center of the property, allowing riders to experience the thrilling force of “Negative G’s” like never before.  The Roller Coaster is the world’s first coaster to feature a 180-degree “heartline” twist and dive maneuver, and only the second heartline coaster to operate in the world, providing riders with heart-stopping action and thrills.
