
Las Vegas, Feb. 4, 2010 – Writer P Moss and CityLife Books celebrate the release of the dynamic short story collection Blue Vegas with an avant-garde party at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 at Double Down Saloon.
Blue Vegas captures the spirit of the city and focuses on the raw human emotions unique to the people who live and work in Las Vegas. In tune with the one-of-a-kind nature of the narrative, Double Down Saloon, known as the ‘anti-Vegas’ venue, hosts the unconventional party to celebrate the newest sensation to hit book stands.
Entertaining guests all night long, Double Down Saloon welcomes one of the most astounding troupe of extreme circus freaks, the SwingShift SideShow. The SideShow team including – Andrew S., Kelvikta the Blade and Jenn O. Cide (serving as MC for the evening) – brings classic carnival entertainment screaming into the 21st century. Guests will witness ancient and deadly feats of skill along with jaw-dropping and eye-popping original stunts, including sword swallowing, fire performances, belly dancing and mind-over-body demonstrations. Spinning on the turntables is DJ Rex Dart of the Bargain DJ Collective. Guests will also enjoy a reading by the author and book signing.

P Moss, a writer, gambler and bar owner, operates the world-renowned Double Down Saloons in Las Vegas and New York City, as well as the Polynesian-themed Frankie’s Tiki Room in Las Vegas. Blue Vegas is his first book.
