Jeff Neiman, a world class pianist, composer, musical director and performer put together an incredible high-energy show with some of his closest friends who just happen to be some of the top names in Las Vegas entertainment today. Still maintaining his youthful energy and appearance, he is celebrating 35 years in show business.
The show was performed in the intimate setting of the famous Italian Eatery, The Bootlegger, located at the south end of the Strip. Attendees were thrilled to have a chance to be entertained by the Who’s Who of Las Vegas, including Kelly Clinton, Clint Holmes, Clint’s sister, Gayle Steele, Teddy Davey from the Las Vegas Tenors and Elisa Fiorillo. The audience was regaled with new, upbeat twists on classic favorites like, Piano Man, Walking in Memphis, He Touched Me, Sir Duke and Send In The Clowns, to name a few.
Some of the most uniquely entertaining moments in the show were watching Clint scat spur of the moment with sax player Rocco during a performance of Minute by Minute; also watching Jeff perform with violinist, Judith Pinkerton for a couple Broadway classics: Phantom’s Music of the Night and Cats’ Memory.
A couple heartwarming moments were when Jeff proudly introduced his son, Jared who sang a Christmas tune, My Favorite Things. Also, later in the show when Jeff shared a touching original song, What Do I Do Without You, that he’d written years ago for a grieving friend who’d lost a loved one.
Incredibly talented band members, Keith Nelson on bass guitar, Rocco Barbetto on saxophone, Steven Lee on guitar, Adam Schendel on drums, and of course Jeff Neiman tickling the ivory keys, were obviously having a good time, which made the show extra special. Enjoying top-notch Italian comfort food while watching true artists having fun at what they do best is always a treat!
